Reilly Clark
Reilly Clark is an art historian and art world professional. Reilly earned his BA and MA in art history at Stanford University. He also studied abroad at the University of Oxford, where he specialized in art repatriation. As a PhD Candidate at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Reilly studies repatriation, restitution, and museum practice with a focus on the art of Native North America.
Reilly has worked broadly across the art world, from excavating Byzantine shipwrecks in Sicily to conducting scientific tests on ancient Egyptian mummy portraits. He worked across collecting categories from space memorabilia to contemporary art at a major auction house.
From 2020 to 2024, Reilly dedicated himself to supporting the next generation of artists and art lovers as a founder and founding team member at several startups. As a founder, Reilly led fundraising, artist recruitment, customer relationships, and earned media efforts. Later, as a founding team member at Artmatcher and Testudo, he built relationships with museums, galleries, art fairs, collector groups, and private companies.
